A Little About Me

Born and raised in Salem Virginia, I received my first 35mm camera from my grandfather at age 7 and there began my love for photography. As I grew, everyday life took place and although I continued taking pictures, they were just that...pictures. I began my family at age 23 giving birth to a beautiful baby girl. I took more and more pictures as any new mom does. Years went by (more than I'd planned) and at age 32 I decided it was time to have another bundle of joy. BOY OH BOY was I just a little shocked when I discovered I was pregnant with TWINS!! So after the birth of two bouncing baby boys, I became a stay at home mother of three. Finally I was able to enroll in photography classes thru Va. Western Community College and turn my life long hobby into something more. Which brings us to:

I am an ameteur, natural light digital photographer specializing in casual portraiture of families, couples, expectant mothers, seniors, newborns & children of all ages, and boudior at the location of your choice in Roanoke Va, Salem Va and surrounding areas.

I've recently been requested to do a couple weddings, so I agreed, although an amateur, it is where my heart is taking me. Please know that I have no desire at this point to compete with the professional wedding photographers in the area as I do not have their experience. I do not have 10+ years experience photographing weddings so I will not charge as if I do. If you are having a small affair wedding or just can't afford a large amount, please contact me if I can help make your day memorable at an affordable price.
